All our questions will be answered this Summer July is my bet. As for the gameplay being either easy or cheap. Inklings are lucky, being able to run and laugh and play without a care in the world since they're young.

Agent 8? : splatoon

When buying the expansion they all used the pronouns of she and her - does this mean rather than an extension of us she is actually a character. I was thinking maybe when we enter it we get another customization page, or at least get to choose the sex of agent 8 but then why would agent 8 splatoon refer to 8 solely with female pronouns. Both the male and female versions in the trailer, the ones in the tube, had the same skin and hair colour so perhaps sex is all we can change but I found agent 8 splatoon weird that they all referred to 8 as a female. Perhaps amnesia or even she was born that day. I just thought we would get to customize 8, but I'm not sure we will. I don't care that much but I was curious. I think the only thing we know for sure is that this new character isn't going to be the same as Agent 4, given that there agent 8 splatoon be a way to narratively explain why she'd have amnesia while playing the single player content. We also don't know if we'll be playing as actual octolings or inklings mimicking the octoling style. Seems like it'd be the latter, given that it'd be weird for the octoling you to share the exact same gear, equipment, levels, and rank as your inkling, and yet would be equally bizarre if you had to start back at square one when you want to play as an octoling. I think agent 8 is female in terms of canon, like agent 3 and 4. Sure, you can choose an inkling boy, but squid girl is the face of Splatoon. Yes, it has been confirmed that Agent 3 and 4 are canonically female. What part of what I said made you think I thought otherwise. I could have sworn I heard the former during the Direct, but maybe I imagined that. Anyway, my point is if it's the former, then it couldn't be Agent 4 since it wouldn't make sense for her to be amnesiac and yet still do all the multiplayer stuff like she wasn't unless you can't do multiplayer again until you finish the expansion story, which seems highly unlikely. In theory it'd have to do with however the expansion ends. Unless I guess others playing agent 8 splatoon octarians will appear to you as inklings until you've finished the story. But then that just sounds really convoluted and unlikely to me. Also, did they say that you played as an inkling that's undercover as an octoling or as an actual octoling. I could have sworn I heard the former during the Direct, but maybe I imagined that. You play as a genuine Octoling, although one that resembles Marina rather than the classic ones the Agents fight. This explains why all the Octolings have red tentacles, as he sired them as Bio Organic Weapons to bolster and command his army of soulless Octarians except the Octolings actually have souls, unlike the tentacled mutations composing over 90% of his forces. They do say that she's specifically a new character which makes the first paragraph of my first comment here kinda redundant that looks like an octoling. So it could be that she's an undercover inkling, hence my thought process.

Agent 8 fights Agent 3 and after a long battle, Agent 3 is defeated and brought back to normal. Unless I guess others playing as octarians will appear to you as inklings until you've finished the story. How does he integrate into inkling society? All he knows is that he has to get to the promised land to experience that beautiful song he heard at some point. I don't like giving out information about the story, I like them when they're vague. They measure his capabilities both mentally and physically, exhausting him to the fullest. This is a self indulgent story.
